Energy management

Do you feel tired? Like ALWAYS tired? No motivation even though you know what you really want?

Maybe you are not realizing where does your energy go. Or how to get more of it.

What consumes your energy?
- Sugar and sweets. Even though sugar is energy, it gives energy spikes and after a lot of energy, you go into a long valley where you feel like more sugar and you enter a vicious cycle.
- Overthinking - inner dialogue with yourself what to do, if to do, when to do…
- Spending time with people you do not like. Do you know the feeling of people that drains your energy? That you try to impress or disappear from, anyway, it takes a lot of energy.
- Doing things you do not enjoy. Sometimes we just have to do them, it’s ok. But if most of your time you spend on things that drive you crazy, do not wonder how come you are dead tired every night. And maybe morning.
- Living some else dream. You know when someone told you years ago that the only way to be successful is…. Become a lawyer, doctor, marry a rich guy, etc. And somehow you are following this, but inside you feel empty and you hate yourself for not following YOUR dream. This brings all the previous - not nice inner dialogue, being in places you don’t like with people you cannot be yourself.

So how to live a life when you do wake up filled with energy and motivation to start a new day?

Things that charges you with energy:
- Exercise! I’m sure this is not a surprise. A little workout, bike ride, or a simple walk will recharge you in a short time.
- Talking with a good friend. When you share your ideas freely, are accepted for who you are, and can feel yourself, brings a lot of good energy.
- Following your mission and knowing your purpose. Once you know your WHY, you stop arguing with yourself WHY do you need to wake up or go do this or that. You do it because you want it. And there are many steps to find this mission, so first of all, go look for it.
- Spending time in nature. According to research, even seeing green color at your workplace can calm you down. So imagine what happens with you during a walk in a forest, or mountains, or just around your neighborhood park.
-
As you can see, there is no sleep in this list, because sleep is essential for your body to function well. But it does not fix your inner energy shortage. Sleep deserves a different post on its own.

So go and do more things you love, spend time in places you feel yourself, and follow your dreams.
